My mother, a friendly 69-year-old lady, is offering two fully furnished rooms for rent in her home. She will only occupy the apartment between three and six nights per month, depending on her commitments in Montreal, but she wishes to keep it as her home base. Located a four-minute walk from the du Collège metro station on the Orange line, the rooms are furnished and equipped. Renting a room provides access to the entire apartment, with the exception of the other bedrooms. My mother includes electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, and a visit from a cleaning lady once a month. The apartment includes appliances and air conditioning. The home is 20 minutes from the Université de Montréal and 30 minutes from UQAM as well as the city center, McGill, and Concordia by metro. She is preferably looking for female students from out of town ("it's interesting to meet people from elsewhere," she says) or quiet, respectful women.
