My tenant paid their rent after the due date: when will I be paid?

Rent payment for rentals longer than 45 days

For rentals longer than 45 days, your tenant has until the due date to pay their rent online.

If this date has passed, they can still pay their rent via the payment schedule on Roomlala.

The difference is simple: they will no longer receive automatic reminders for this payment, but will continue to receive rent notices and reminders for subsequent due dates.

When will you be paid? 💸

• If the tenant pays within 48 hours of the due date, the transfer is made 26 hours after the due date.
• If the payment is made more than 48 hours after the due date, you will receive the transfer upon receipt of payment.

Tracking the transfer status

A confirmation email is sent to you as soon as Roomlala processes the transfer.

You can track its progress from your personal space, under "Profile" then "Transactions".

💡 If you own multiple listings with due dates on the same day, you will receive one transfer per listing.

Conditions for receiving your transfer

Before any payment, ensure the following items are completed:

• Your bank details in your Roomlala profile (under "Bank details").
• Your identity verified online.
• Your tax information is complete.

Transfer processing time

As soon as Roomlala processes the transfer, it appears immediately in your bank account.

Roomlala transfers are instant transfers 🙂

In rare cases (weekends, public holidays, or bank closures), the transfer may appear the next day or the day after.

Roomlala provides a secure payment system allowing the tenant to pay their rent online and the host to receive the transfer as soon as the payment is validated.
