Service fees as a host
Updated on 06/04/2026
When a booking is made, service fees are deducted from the amount paid to you. Don't worry: here is what they correspond to and how they are calculated, from the host's perspective.
What are the service fees for?
Service fees accompany the online booking process on Roomlala. They fund the platform and the guarantees related to the rental:
- Guaranteed payment of your rent
- Compensation in case of cancellation, according to the applicable terms
- Insurance adapted for rentals
How much do they cost?
As a host, service fees represent 3% of the amount paid to you, with a minimum of €3. This rate is the same regardless of the rental duration, whether short or long. For long-term rentals paid in installments, the fees are simply split across each payment.
The exact amount is always shown to you before confirmation: you know precisely what you will be paid, with no unpleasant surprises.
How can I stop paying service fees?
With the Premium Pass, your service fees are completely removed: you receive the full amount of your rent. The Pass is a 12-month subscription that you can purchase from your personal space, in the Premium Pass section.
